Jill is a tried-and-true professional with over two decades of experience in product and brand management. She has had direct hands-on experience in virtually every facet within this industry, as well as know-how working in numerous markets including government, associations, education, IT and professional services. As Creative Director of JTGD&A, she has moderated focus groups and workshops, art-directed photo-shoots, developed
marketing strategies, written articles and press releases, developed budgets and timelines, and managed creative staff.
Recognized for her experience and success as a highly savvy businesswoman, Jill is frequently invited to speak at regional and national marketing events. Jill created the syllabus and taught a graduate course on branding and advertising at Johns Hopkins University from 2008-2009. Jill has been a member of numerous organizations including the Executive Women’s Roundtable, the Art Directors Club, Success in the City, AIGA, and the DC Chamber of Commerce. She is also an active member of the graphic arts community, and has served on the Board of Directors for the Washington, DC Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). She has a keen design eye, which maintains her as a regular judge for many national design competitions. Her reputable firm is WBENC and MBE certified and has two GSA schedules. JTGD&A has been included in the prestigious Washington Business Journal Book of Lists for the several years and was named one of Maryland’s Top Woman Owned Businesses by diversity.com, the nation’s leading multi-cultural Internet site.
Originally trained as a fine artist, Jill received her Bachelors of Art in Art Studio from the State University College at Oneonta in upstate New York. She received a Masters of Art in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore. Jill is from Long Island, New York and lives with her family in Bethesda, MD.
